Towne Livery Creates MKT Town Car Video Learning Channel
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Operators wanting to get a jump start on running a Lincoln MKT Town Car or just check out all the details before buying one can consult the Towne Livery MKT Video Channel, now up on YouTube.
Towne Livery’s vehicle sales manager David Bastian assembled a mix of 21 Lincoln demo videos along with some he shot or modified himself. Ranging from one to four minutes, the video clips cover everything from operational basics to the sophisticated Sync technology. The videos, which were all posted by April 12, also are available on a DVD.
Lincoln released the MKT Town Car to dealerships in mid-March, and since then sales and deliveries have been brisk as those operators nationwide choosing to stay with Lincoln begin transitioning from the retired Town Car Executive L to the MKT Town Car.
In addition to the videos, Towne provides three Sync coordinators on staff to explain the technology and answer questions from operators, Bastian said. Lincoln also offers Sync information at its website Syncmyride.com.
“Lincoln wants us to do personal teaching and a technology seminar,” Bastian said. “Some customers visit with us and we can do that. But for customers who don’t come to Towne and have the vehicles shipped, I came up with alternative stuff.”
“We set up the videos and DVD so a limo manager can actually teach it to their staff,” Bastian said. “We’re trying to make it simple and get as much info out there so they can teach staffs at their pace.”
