The Lincoln Town Car for nearly 3 decades has been the workhorse of the Ground transportation Industry. As all of you know,in 2011 The Town Car was discontinued due to the vehicle not meeting the federal standards for safety,fuel efficiency & emissions.
Unfortunately because of the lack of retail interest and the enormous price tag to update the Town Car Ford made the decision to let this vehicle go and come up with other options.
The Town Car over this time did establish itself as the industry standard, providing superior rear seat comfort an,exceptional ride & mechanical reliability that was second to none!
It is not out of the ordinary to find Town Cars on the road today with over 300,000 miles or more!
Since the Town Car is gone, you will find yourself considering different types of vehicles as replacements and many of these are vehicles you would have considered in the past…
Crossovers, Hybrid …..& Electric Cars are now being used in Livery. Some of these new vehicles are Front Wheel Drive or All wheel drive and are powered by 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engines.
This is a big change from the past.
Once you have narrowed your selection down and have decided on which vehicles you are adding to your fleet.. it’s extremely important for you to be aware of the vehicles service requirements. Each manufacturer has different recommendations.
