David C. Bastian Jr. is a recognized leader in the professional chauffeured transportation industry, with more than 33 years of automotive experience and over 25 years dedicated specifically to transportation and livery vehicle sales.
Since entering the automotive industry in 1992, David has built a career helping transportation operators identify, acquire, and manage vehicles tailored to the unique demands of professional chauffeur service, executive transportation, airport transportation, and fleet operations.
David began specializing in Lincoln Livery vehicle sales in 1998, working with limousine operators and transportation companies throughout the United States. Over the years, he has developed extensive experience with transportation-focused vehicle programs from Lincoln, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, BMW, and other leading manufacturers.
In 2007, David joined Towne Automotive Group and established what would become Towne Livery, a division dedicated exclusively to serving professional transportation operators. Today, Towne Livery assists transportation companies nationwide with vehicle acquisition, manufacturer fleet programs, and transportation-focused fleet solutions.
In 2020, Towne Livery became an independent company, and David assumed the role of Vice President, continuing to guide the company's growth and commitment to the transportation industry.
Beyond vehicle sales, David has been an active advocate for transportation operators throughout New York State and across the industry. Since 2009, he has served as Legislative Director for the Limousine, Bus, Taxi Operators of Upstate New York, working with policymakers and industry leaders on issues affecting transportation companies, including taxation, regulatory policy, commercial insurance challenges, transportation network companies, and industry safety initiatives.
Through decades of industry involvement, David has earned the trust of transportation operators nationwide by combining automotive expertise, transportation industry knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping operators succeed.
Today, David continues to work closely with limousine companies, executive transportation providers, airport transportation operators, and professional chauffeur fleets throughout North America.
